Principal Duties:

1. Recommends, reviews, and evaluates corporate information and network security policies based on currently available technology and company business needs.

2. Advises in developing and enforcing computer and networking security procedures based on existing guidelines. Investigates cases of computer/communications misuse, unauthorized attempts to use network resources, and violations of computer security policies.

3.  Conducts risk analysis of the company computing environment and coordinates corporate computer and information security policies and guidelines for approval by executive management.

4.  Conducts studies related to division's business systems activities, develops cost control measures and ensures effective utilization of computing resources.

5. Evaluates and assesses damage and/or loss of organization confidential data with ability to investigate facts, prepare reports to management and follow-up actions.

6. Assists senior analysts in the review and problem solving of reported computer security breach cases. Liaises with responsible agencies within IT to exchange latest information on computer technology and associated crimes.

7. Provides specialized expertise and practical assistance covering physical, electronic and technical security facets of informatics at each stage of life cycle;

8. Develops, reviews and assesses appropriateness and effectiveness of IT security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures; Conducts security threat and risk assessment of IT facilities, applications systems and communications; Creates or reviews security-related implementation plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, as well as backup and recovery plans;

9. Evaluates security-related software/hardware; Creates or reviews security-related implementation plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, as well as backup and recovery plans;

10. Investigates security incidents and reporting causes and related weaknesses and recommending remedies; Designs the security framework and implementing the security components of IT infrastructure required to protect assets and to support application systems;

11. Advises on the security aspects of application systems under development.

BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Security, with relevant Professional certification in the IT security field (SSCP, CISSP)

Qualifications /Technical Skills :

1. At least 12 years of experience in computer security, systems analysis, feasibility studies, systems engineering, or a combination thereof, with at least 7 years of demonstrated experience directly relevant to the duties described. The last 3 years, at a minimum, in a Western Company.

2. Conversant with ERP systems and have a thorough working knowledge of different systems within Oracle with ability to extract, review and analyze systems logs data from different databases, such as Oracle or SQL. Able to conduct computer security reviews, computer workstation and systems' violation investigations and preparing reports to management.

3.  Possessing firewalls experience with information technology architectures, security architecture subsets and data resources strategy.

4. Familiarity with Internet / Intranet and demonstrated abilities in problem analysis and resolution.

5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, in English and possess excellent presentation skills.
