Principal Duties:

1. Predicts IT resource requirements to meet service level agreements while minimizing cost.
2.  Analyzes service levels and resource usage and aligns capacity requirements with business demands.
3.  Plans hardware and software purchases, plans upgrades and consolidates servers. Matches capacity to business needs and makes the most efficient use of resources to avoid capacity shortages or wasteful underutilization.
4.   Performs Capacity modeling (analytic modeling). 
5. Analyzes management needs regarding use of IT equipment or operations and processes.  Participates in budget planning, implementation, and monitoring for purchase and maintenance of hardware and software.
6.   Records and maintains hardware and software inventories, site and/or server licensing.  Utilizes extensive knowledge of systems analysis.
7.  Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related fields.

Qualifications /Technical Skills :

1. 12 years experience, with at least 6 years as a Systems Analyst.

2.  The last 3 years, at a minimum, in a Western Company. 5 to 7 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

3. Must have full life-cycle experience of scoping, analyzing, planning, designing, implementing, testing and releasing enterprise scale application systems.  Network and communications planning experience a plus.

4. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities; Ability to analyze operational requirements and assess information technology and capacity requirements;

5.  Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management; Ability to make financial evaluations and proposals regarding current and/or future hardware and software capabilities/requirements;

6.  Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment; Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise;

7. Ability to design, develop, and implement integrated hardware/software systems solutions to organizational requirements.
